A Part of Us’ More Nightmares than Usual is an album that takes no shortcuts. Musically, it picks up the thread of fast, technical skate punk the band grew up on, pushing the impact of the riffs and the solidity of the structures even further.
The lyrics capture the gears of daily life, moving between disillusionment, personal growth, and raw emotions. Tracks like the recent “A Beautiful Reason” lay bare the band’s most intimate, romantic, and visceral side: a literal open letter dedicated to a girl, speaking of past regrets, the fear of losing one another, and the strength of finding each other again—showing the vulnerability of someone who has finally found a reason to believe in love and feel less alone.
The album represents the perfect synthesis of the band’s current sound, blending live-show energy with meticulously crafted instrumental parts, with a constant nod to the genre’s historical benchmarks like A Wilhelm Scream, Mute, or Belvedere.
This album was mixed & mastered by Alex Gavazzi at Shatterdome Studios in Rome, Italy. Art and design by Marco Divertimenti.
